ECU remapping

ECU REMAPPING involves reading the vehicle’s calibration map, and then adjusting various parameters such as fuel pressure, boost pressure (on turbocharged applications), ignition advance, throttle pedal control and other parameters to release the true performance of the engine.

When vehicle manufacturers make vehicles they have to make a compromise on the state of tune to account for all driving conditions and regions. We take this initial mapping and alter the ECU software to safely gain power and torque and improve the general driveability and in the case of diesel engines increase economy.

In most cases the map stored within the ECU can be accessed via the onboard diagnostics port (OBD) however In some models the ECU may need to be removed from the vehicle for the modification to be carried out on the bench.

We offer three different types of remaps.

ECONOMY REMAPPING – This is Designed to return improved economy in turbo diesel engines.

ECONOMY/PERFORMANCE BLEND REMAPPING – Offers a mix of power and economy in most turbo diesel engines.
its designed to de-restrict the engine and open up the true torque and power.
This offers a better driving experience while returning an improved fuel consumption figure.

POWER/PERFORMANCE REMAPPING –  This can be installed on both petrol and diesel vehicles.
To be used where extra power and torque is required. For example pulling heavy loads. looking for optimised acceleration, or simply to enjoy your vehicle to its full potential.

We only use genuine tools to carry out these modifications and we are IMI qualified.

We don’t offer any DPF, Ad blue or emission related solutions.
